Putin: Non-fulfillment of 2019 budget costs of 1 tln rbl too much

MOSCOW, Dec 12 (PRIME) -- The non-fulfillment of the Russian federal budget expenditures in 2019 in the amount of up to 1 trillion rubles is a too high figure, President Vladimir Putin said late Wednesday at a meeting with the Audit Chamber’s head Alexei Kudrin.

Kudrin said, “In general, we forecast the non-fulfillment of the federal budget of up to 1 trillion (rubles)… Of course, this never happened, last year the federal budget was unfulfilled by 770 billion rubles.”

“It’s a bit too much,” Putin said.

Kudrin also said that fulfillment of Russia’s national projects stood at 67% as of November 1. Some national projects were fulfilled less by 20% as of November 1, he said.
